STEPS

POWER ON AND UNLOCK YOUR IPHONE. Type your 4-digit pin into the device, if you have any set.

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE YELP FOR IPHONE APP FROM THE APPLE APPSTORE (IF YOU HAVEN\'T ALREADY DONE SO).

OPEN THE YELP APP.

INSTALL THE AUGMENTED REALITY EASTER EGG FOR YELP FOR IPHONE.

TAP INTO THE HOME SCREEN OF THE YELP APP, ONCE MORE.

TAP THE "MONOCLE" BUTTON.

WAIT FOR THE MONOCLE TO BEGIN.

PAN SLOWLY AROUND THE AREA. Even the slightest tinge of unintentional movement, can misadjust the locations that are displayed.

TIPS
The Monocle doesn't perfectly position all the business. It will give you an approximate compass placement of the location. But there is some common sense that goes into finding where the business is located.
The phone will interpret what businesses are around that correspond to the businesses in the Yelp database. Make sure to turn on location-sensing.
When this is being used on the Android, even a steady hand at panning can cause the box to "shiver" uncontrollably.
If you are unable to install the Monocle (which will happen on iPod touches with cameras, undoubtedly), this feature will be unavailable to you. All iPhones (iPod touches and iPads not included) and Android smartphone devices (Android devices have this feature installed by default) will have this feature.
This portion of the app isn't perfect. It will only list some of the available businesses in the area (even when "Everything" is being used).
The Monocle works better in an urban city than when in a rural town. However, it will work in some rural towns and bigger towns in rural areas too.
