STEPS
1
DOWNLOAD A FILE MANAGER APP. In order to perform this, you will need to either download a file manager, or connect your device to a computer so that you can access the files. There are many file managers available for free from the Play Store. 2
CREATE A NEW SURVIVAL GAME. Remember the name that you give it so that you can easily find the folder for it later. Wait for the world to completely load before continuing. 3
QUIT MINECRAFT AND OPEN THE FILE EXPLORER. Alternatively, plug your device into your computer. Open the GAMES folder and then open the COM.MOJANG folder. After that, open the MINECRAFTWORLDS folder. This will display a list of folders labeled with all of your created worlds. 4
FIND YOUR CREATIVE WORLD THAT YOU WANT TO TRANSFER. Open the folder, then press and hold on the “chunks.dat” file until the menu appears. Select Copy. 5
FIND YOUR NEW SURVIVAL WORLD. This will be in the folder with the name that you gave your Survival world in Step 2. Open the folder and then press the Menu button. Select Paste and then overwrite the existing file. This will copy your Creative world’s “chunks.dat” file into your Survival world, rewriting your map. 6
START UP MINECRAFT AGAIN. Load your Survival game. You should now be standing in your Creative map. Enjoy playing Minecraft in your handmade map![1]
