How to Browse Files on Android: 6 Steps (with Pictures)

Since it can be difficult to just browse through files in Android with the standard software, downloading an app for that is a good idea. One good free choice is the file browser app called Astro.
STEPS

OPEN THE PLAY STORE APP AND SEARCH FOR "BROWSE FILES."

SELECT AN APP FROM THE LIST SUCH AS "ASTRO."<

CLICK "INSTALL" AND THEN "ACCEPT AND DOWNLOAD" TO INSTALL THE APP ON YOUR PHONE. Click "open" to start the ap.

HIT THE "LOCATIONS" TAB FOR GENERAL BROWSING IN THE APP AFTER IT OPENS. You can also click on "Recents," or any file type such as "documents."

SELECT A LOCATION TO BROWSE, SUCH AS ONE OF YOUR LOCAL STORAGE UNITS, OR EVEN GOOGLE DRIVE, DROPBOX, OR YOUR WIFI NETWORK.

CLICK ON THE FOLDER YOU WANT TO BEGIN BROWSING.
TIPS
You can also browse files on your Android by connecting it to your computer and viewing the files through there.
Click "Search" in the app to search for individual files.
