How to Set Up Bluetooth on an iPhone: 11 Steps (with Pictures)

Did you just purchase a Bluetooth device that you'd like to use with your iPhone? Are you having trouble finding the right buttons to use to turn on the Bluetooth options on your iPhone? This article will explain how to find the options to turn it on, so you can use Bluetooth with your phone.

METHOD 1 OF 2: USING IOS 7

OPEN "SETTINGS".

CLICK ON "BLUETOOTH".

CLICK ON THE TOGGLE BAR SO IT TURNS GREEN. This signifies that Bluetooth is turned on. Your device will now look for discoverable Bluetooth devices nearby.

CLICK ON THE DEVICE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO PAIR YOUR PHONE WITH.
METHOD 2 OF 2: USING IOS 6 AND BEFORE

TURN ON AND UNLOCK YOUR IPHONE.

PRESS THE HOME BUTTON, WHICH CAN BE FOUND ON THE BOTTOM OF THE DEVICE. This may either exit your program, or, if you are already on the home-screens area, may take you to the default installed-apps Home screen.
If the second, press the Home button once again.

TAP THE "SETTINGS" APP ICON.

TAP THE "GENERAL" SETTING TO ENTER YOUR GENERAL SETTINGS MENU.

TAP THE "BLUETOOTH" SETTING BUTTON, IF THE TEXT TO THE RIGHT ON THIS LINE IS LISTED AS BEING "OFF".

SWIPE THE TOP BLUETOOTH BUTTON (AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN) TO THE RIGHT (OR YOU CAN ALSO TAP THE LEFT-MOST EMPTY AREA OF THE SCROLL BAR TO) TO TURN BLUETOOTH ON.

PAIR YOUR DEVICE WITH YOUR IPHONE AND YOU\'LL BE ALL READY TO GO!

You can pair more than one item onto your iPhone.
WARNINGS
Bluetooth features use up battery power a lot quicker. Try to conserve Bluetooth as best as you can (Bluetooth also affects your privacy and sends data from yours to anyone else running Bluetooth at your location). Turn off Bluetooth by tapping (or swiping) the scroll bar on the left where you swiped to turn the feature on.
