tablespoon sugar 1
/2 teaspoon baking soda 1

IN A MIXING BOWL, BEAT 1
EGG, 1
CUP OF PLAIN YOGURT, AND 2 TABLESPOONS CANOLA OIL. 2
ADD 1 CUP OF WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, 1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER, 1 TABLESPOON SUGAR, 1/2
TEASPOON BAKING SODA, AND 1/4 TEASPOON SALT. 3
MIX WELL. If batter is too thick, thin with water. 4
POUR BATTER ONTO A HOT, LIGHTLY GREASED ELECTRIC GRIDDLE, MAKING EACH PANCAKE 4
INCHES IN DIAMETER. 5
COOK UNTIL BUBBLES FORM ON EDGES OR IF GOLDEN BROWN.(These pancakes don't taste good burnt!!!) 6
NOW FOR THE APPLES, CORE 1 SOFT MEDIUM SIZED APPLE PER PERSON. 7
NOW CUT INTO QUARTERS 8
MELT A PAT OF BUTTER IN A SAUCE PAN AND PUT ON MEDIUM-LOW HEAT. 9
DROP IN APPLES AND TURN UP THE HEAT JUST A TINY NOTCH. 10
SPRINKLE 1 TSP. of ground cinnamon and 2 tsp. of brown sugar over the apples. If you are daring add 1 tsp. of white sugar too. 11
NOW COVER WITH A LID FOR 3 MINUTES, OCCASIONALLY FLIPPING AND MOVING AROUND THE APPLES. Cook until they are nice and mushy! 12
