How to Make Thick Pancakes with Apple Cinnamon Topping: 12 Steps

This is a delicious recipe for beginner cooks who are looking for something filling and desiring.
INGREDIENTS

cup plain yogurt

tablespoons canola oil

cup whole wheat flour

teaspoon baking powder

tablespoon sugar

/2 teaspoon baking soda

/4 teaspoon salt
STEPS

IN A MIXING BOWL, BEAT

EGG,

CUP OF PLAIN YOGURT, AND 2 TABLESPOONS CANOLA OIL.

ADD 1 CUP OF WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, 1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER, 1 TABLESPOON SUGAR, 1/

TEASPOON BAKING SODA, AND 1/4 TEASPOON SALT.

MIX WELL. If batter is too thick, thin with water.

POUR BATTER ONTO A HOT, LIGHTLY GREASED ELECTRIC GRIDDLE, MAKING EACH PANCAKE

INCHES IN DIAMETER.

COOK UNTIL BUBBLES FORM ON EDGES OR IF GOLDEN BROWN.(These pancakes don't taste good burnt!!!)

NOW FOR THE APPLES, CORE 1 SOFT MEDIUM SIZED APPLE PER PERSON.

NOW CUT INTO QUARTERS

MELT A PAT OF BUTTER IN A SAUCE PAN AND PUT ON MEDIUM-LOW HEAT.

DROP IN APPLES AND TURN UP THE HEAT JUST A TINY NOTCH.

SPRINKLE 1 TSP. of ground cinnamon and 2 tsp. of brown sugar over the apples. If you are daring add  1 tsp. of white sugar too.

NOW COVER WITH A LID FOR 3 MINUTES, OCCASIONALLY FLIPPING AND MOVING AROUND THE APPLES. Cook until they are nice and mushy!

SERVE APPLES ON TOP OF PANCAKES. ENJOY!!!!!
